We are not a new entrant. We have spent more than four decades building pallet trucks, stackers, lifts and cranes for Indian factories, and we have learnt what keeps them running on a real shop floor.
Nandi Equipments Private Limited started in Coimbatore in 1981, in the engineering heartland of South India. The idea was simple: build material handling equipment for the way Indian factories and warehouses actually work, with their floors, their loads and their power supply, rather than adapt an imported design and hope it holds up.
Over 45 years that has become the way we work. Every machine Nandi builds is designed, fabricated and tested in-house. We handle every stage ourselves, from the engineering drawing to the final inspection, because reliability is not something you can outsource.
Today Nandi equipment runs in factories, warehouses and processing plants across India, in operations where a stopped machine means a stopped line. That is why they buy from us, and why they come back.
These are not slogans on a wall. They are the decisions we make every day in the design office and on the shop floor.
No shortcuts in design or fabrication. Every weld, every tolerance and every load rating is a promise to the person using the machine. We measure twice and build once.
Trust is not claimed. It is built over 45 years of equipment that keeps working on the factory floor, shift after shift.
Uneven floors, heat, dust, unreliable power and long shifts. We design for the conditions our customers actually have, with parts that are available in India.
We design for the life of the machine, not just the purchase order. Equipment that lasts fifteen years costs you less than equipment that needs replacing in five.
Every component is inspected before it leaves our works. BIS and IS standards are the minimum we build to, not the target.
We build for the people who use the equipment every day. Keeping it running is our job too, and our service team is set up for exactly that.
Nandi Equipments is established in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, to build material handling equipment for Indian industrial conditions.
First large supply to a manufacturing plant in South India. It set the reputation for build quality and on-time delivery that we still work to.
The Coimbatore works is expanded. Fabrication, assembly and testing are all brought in-house so that quality is under our own control.
The battery-operated range is introduced, so the line-up now covers electric, semi-electric and manual equipment.
Nandi continues to manufacture, install and service material handling equipment across India, built the same way it was in 1981.
Every Nandi product begins and ends at our Coimbatore works. Engineering, fabrication, welding, painting, assembly and final testing all happen under one roof, under our own supervision.
This is not a convenience. It is how we keep quality in our hands. When we control every stage of production, there are no third-party unknowns inside a Nandi machine.
Every product is load-tested before dispatch and arrives on your floor ready to work, with no adjustment, alignment or rework needed on site.
